PRODUCT INFORMATION Images used on this website to display products and colours have been reproduced as accurately as possible. Images and colours will appear differently depending on the monitor being used to view the website. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY When a product is sold out we will endeavour to update our website as quickly as possible, however, it is possible that an order could be placed for a product which has sold out and that product is i) no longer available ii) its price has increased or iii) is subject to delay. Should this be the case, we will try to contact you at the E-mail address you provided in order to confirm what you wish to do.We will not be liable should a product offered on our website be subject to delay, price increase or unavailability. PRICINGWe reserve the right to amend prices. All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and are exclusive of VAT at the applicable rate. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that all prices displayed on our site are correct, it is possible that an error may be made. Should this happen the price will be corrected and we will contact you to confirm that you still wish to proceed with the order you placed but at the correct price. PAYMENTWe accept payment via Visa (debit and credit), MasterCard, Maestro, Switch and Solo. To make a purchase from this website add the items you want to purchase to your basket and click on the ‘checkout’ button once you have completed your selection. We will then ask for the information required to complete the transaction. Payment will be taken from your card when we receive your order, as soon as your card details have been verified. All goods are subject to availability and should we be unable to supply the items you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and where you have already paid for the goods, a full refund will be given. You will be sent an e-mail confirming that your order is being processed. Please ensure you give us the correct e-mail address. Should there be any problems or delays we will inform you. DELIVERYWe will endeavour to deliver goods which are in stock within 3 – 5 working days. Should the item you have ordered be out of stock, we will advise you of an anticipated delivery date. Delivery charges are calculated at the checkout. Our delivery service covers all United Kingdom mainland addresses and shipping ports however surcharges may apply to some remote areas. Deliveries should be made on your requested day between 8a.m. and 6 p.m.although this cannot be guaranteed. No liability for any consequential losses or costs incurred due to late delivery will be accepted. We recommend that you do not book installers until the goods have been received and checked.
Our delivery service is a kerbside delivery. For insurance reasons the delivery driver will not take the goods into your premises and you must have adequate help available to offload the goods. You are responsible for getting the goods into your premises. Deliveries are made using lorries or van and it is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If there could be a problem (Red route, weight, width or timezone restrictions) you must contact us at the time of order to discuss delivery options. If your order arrives as arranged but we are unable to deliver because you are not present or because there is not adequate help available, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for redelivery. If goods refused on delivery are found to be undamaged on return we reserve the right to charge you for any carriage costs we have incurred. If you are unable to take delivery as arranged, we require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation. If you do not give 24 hours notice you will be liable for a second delivery charge. You must be at the delivery address to check and sign for your goods at the time delivery is made. You must inspect the goods immediately on delivery before signing the delivery documents. No claims for damaged or incorrect goods can be made after the person making the delivery has left the delivery address unless the delivery documents have been signed as incorrect or damaged.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS You have the right to cancel and return your complete order within seven days of the date of delivery. If you wish to return any goods they must be complete, unused and in as new condition. The goods must be in their original packaging as goods are second hand without the original packaging and we may not be able to accept them back. When you return the goods they must be packaged adequately to prevent any damage. If you wish to cancel your order you must return the goods to us at your own expense. We will refund the order in full less any direct expenses we have incurred in fulfilling the original agreement. Direct expenses will include delivery costs whether we charged you for them or not. The right to cancel specifically excludes items which have been cut to size or custom made for you. If you wish to return some goods you must obtain a Returns Authorisation Code from our office. The returned goods must have this code clearly marked on the address label. Enclose a copy of the original delivery note with the goods. Send the goods to:
Any refund due will be processed within 14 days of the returned goods being received by us. All refunds will be made against the original form of tender. We reserve the right to refuse goods returned to us where our returns policy has not been adhered to. If you do not follow our returns policy you may not receive a refund for the goods returned. COMPLAINTS If you feel there may be a fault with your flooring please contact customer services using the contact details below. Please E-mail us a photograph of the problem to help us identify the cause. Should an inspection be required a charge will be made. This charge will be refunded if a manufacturing fault is found. We cannot be held responsible for complaints once the flooring has been fitted. Make sure you are completely confident in your fitter and that you and your fitter carefully check the flooring prior to installation. LIABILITYRisk of loss or damage to goods passes to you once delivery has been made. Delivery has been made once the goods have been left at the address which you have given. No claims can be accepted once delivery has been made. All implied warranties and undertakings are excluded to the full extent permitted by law. James W Vincent (Flooring) Ltd will not be liable for any loss of profits or business or other consequential, special or indirect losses, expenses, costs or other claims for compensation arising from the products and services offered for sale through this website and their use or resale by you, whether or not this the result of our negligence. James W Vincent (Flooring) Ltd will not be liable to pay you any compensation other than to refund the amount you have paid to us for the products involved in the particular transaction.
